(Mlive)-In stark contrast to the past week, the snow will keep coming Tuesday.
The National Weather Service is advising one to two more inches of snow will be added throughout the day Tuesday to the last night's totals across Mid-Michigan.
In a special weather statement issued around 5 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, the Weather Service stated snowfall in some areas could reach one-and-a-half inches per hour during the morning.
Accumulation totals from the snowfall Monday night and into early Tuesday for Mid-Michigan were not immediately available.
The statement issued by the National Weather Service covers the counties of Midland, Bay, Huron, Saginaw, Tuscola, Sanilac, Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer and St. Clair.
